The Family Crisis Council of Rowan, Inc. creates pathways to hope, healing, and empowerment for victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. 

WHAT WE DO

What We Do

Family Crisis Council provides support to victims of domestic violence and abuse through a comprehensive set of services meant to assist and empower reliable support systems.

Temporary Shelter

Our Shelter provides temporary emergency shelter to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. We also provide referrals throughout our community and to other DV/SA shelters.

Supportive counseling is available to residents of the shelter and to victims in the community via our Crisis Line: 704-636-4718 then press 1

Support Services

We assist with protective orders & electronic filing of orders and offer victim accompaniment through criminal and civil court process, referrals for victim services like Legal Aid, counseling, and much more.

Individuals can meet with advocates before court on Monday’s from 8:45 a.m. 9:15 a.m., in the room near Court Room 2.

We strive to make the community a better, safer place through outreach and educational programs designed to better equip victims with the tools them need to get help.

We believe that through awareness and education, we can change the pattern of abuse.
